Spicy French Toast


We’re putting a twist on a very old French classic, creating a way to spice up everything in food


  • 3-4 slices of your bread of choice (brioche is a traditional and great option)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbs of butter or oil
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Madras Chicken Curry Blend
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
  • 3 sprigs coriander chopped
  • 1 red onion chopped finely
  • 2 green chilli’s chopped


  1. Beat the eggs, add milk and beat again
  2. Add chilli flakes, curry blend and S&P and mix together
  3. Heat oil or butter in pan, dip bread slice in egg mix and gently put into pan to cook
  4. Spread some onion, green chillis and coriander on top of bread and pour over some egg mixture
  5. Turn bread over and let this side cook until light brown
  6. Serve with chutney on the side, we recommend Traditional Qld Mango
