BBQ Skewers with Lime

An easy and delicious entree for family Bbq. A real crowd pleaser 🙂
Ingredients
Makes: 9 skewers
Skewer Ingredients
- 1 medium piece of rump steak, diced roughly into 1 inch pieces
- 2 chicken breasts, diced roughly into 1inch pieces
- 9 raw prawns, deveined and prepared how you wish
Glaze Ingredients
- Mudgereeba Spices & Curry Blends South Indian Lime Chutney
Directions
Preheat a BBQ to a high temperature.
Prepare the skewers by placing the meat onto the skewers how you wish. For the prawn skewers you can brush them with the chutney now if you wish or wait until they are cooked. We advise it’s best to wait until brushing the meats with our chutney until after they have been cooked as they have a tendency to stick to the bbq plate due to the delicious sugar content in the chutney.
Cook the skewers on the bbq for the following times:
- Rump steak skewers 3 minutes both sides
- Chicken skewers 5 minutes both sides
- Prawn skewers 2 minutes both sides
Once the skewers are cooked, place them onto a serving plate to cool. Brush them generously with the chutney. You can thin out the chutney by mixing 3 tablespoons with ¼ cup water or liquid of your choice.
Enjoy the skewers immediately once glazed and cooled.
